Hi Doug--
It would be impossible to separate out what benefits were from Scrum, which from TDD, etc.

For improved QA results - that's really more a result of implementing Agile XP practices, like Test-First/TDD, rather than Scrum per se, no?

Exactly what in the Benefits PDF is directly attributable to use of Scrum alone?

Regards,

Hi Phil--
Yes, I'm familiar with Pete Deemer's data on Yahoo. I was training and coaching the Yahoo! teams during that period. Yes, the data is valid. I reference that data elsewhere in the Succeeding with Agile book. Collecting data like Yahoo did through a simple self-reported survey can be useful.

Hi Mike,
Nice presentation on the reported benefits of Agile.
We're using the data found here
http://www.goodagile.com/resources/goodagile_scrum_presentation.pdf
in our internal Scrum course. I didn't see it listed in David Rico's spreadsheet. Are you familiar with this survey of Yahoo teams? Does it look valid? One interesting aspect of this one is that it appears to show net promoter scores on team morale (although we chose to keep our slides simple and only left in quality, accountability and productivity)
Lots of great references to track down, thanks...
thanks
